As a self-employed writer and activist who has been using YNAB since 2013, I know that fully understanding your finances gives you the best shot at living your best life. (Hint: It's all about prioritizing!) Because I care about accessibility, I offer sliding scale pricing.
My Background
I’ve been using YNAB since 2013. Over a decade later I literally can’t imagine managing my life without it. I'm a queer Latinx writer, activist, consultant and podcaster. I've mostly been self-employed, which means I own my time. Owning my time has allowed me to prioritize what I want each day to look like and pursue all of these projects.
While I can give myself a lot of credit for being a self-starter, for working well independently and for having relationships that have lead to gigs, the primary tool that has made this unconventional career possible for me is YNAB.
Why Work with Me
My clients say I provide a non-judgmental, supportive space to work through your barriers to budgeting and get clear about your priorities. I love seeing how much things change when people have a clear sense of their resources and realize they have choices.
Whether you are totally new to YNAB, whether you’ve tried it before and gotten overwhelmed and quit, or you are using it but feel like some extra guidance would help you feel more confident with your budgeting, I’d love to work with you.
Why I Coach
My goal is to help everyone navigate the tricky world of budgeting using YNAB. While many of us have lots of financial limitations, the more we know about our financial situation, the more power we have to make choices and prioritize the things that are the most important to us. For me, budgeting is not about becoming rich, or retiring early, or hoarding a ton of money. It’s about living a life that I love and making my resources work for me, rather than working for my resources. I love helping people take control of their lives and their money.
