I love helping people use YNAB to navigate the complex world of personal finance! As an experienced software coach, I use a conversational style to help new budgeters get YNAB up and running or existing budgeters optimize their plans, review their bills, and find creative ways to meet their goals.
My Background
As a software coach for nearly 20 years, I have a passion for finding creative ways to solve challenges using technology. Personal finance is one of life's biggest challenges, and after using YNAB over the past five years to manage a budget for my wife and 3 children, I believe it is the best tool to help solve it.
Why Work with Me
I have an easy-going, conversational coaching style, using a blend of patience and technical know-how to help clients better understand the software they are using while focusing on the "why" behind budgeting and personal finance.
Why I Coach
The concept of consciously choosing how to spend and save money didn't resonate with me until after I had a family. Finding YNAB and creating a real budget allowed us to continue managing the day to day, but also plan for the future and make our money work toward achieving long-term goals. I hope to use my experience to help others make this connection as early as possible and establish good personal finance habits for the long run.
