How much does it cost to be you? Don't panic if you don't know. I can help you get the numbers to this deceptively simple question as we work together. I'll also prompt you to consider your money and your unique priorities to reflect your real values in your budget.
My Background
I'm a first-generation immigrant from the Philippines. My money orientation growing up was geared towards frugality but soon enough, I embraced frequent dining out, credit card use, and online shopping. A divorce that forced me to start my life over shook me to pay attention to how I needed to redefine my new life. Finding and implementing YNAB has enabled me to relate my money with my values.
I went to business school when I turned 40. I've alternated between being a corporate employee, freelancer and business owner based on my desire/need for time freedom vs money.
Why Work with Me
People have remarked that I make it safe for them to freely express themselves without fear of judgment. I enjoy listening to people speak about the things that light them up and I especially feel honored to be a witness to their breakthroughs.
My goal as your coach is to help you unlock new levels of awareness and self-knowledge around your spending and priorities. I understand what you're after. You're looking for a change. That doesn't always come easy, but with the right coach to guide you, it's certainly possible!
Why I Coach
Short answer: I'm in my coaching era.
Long answer: After years of taking and consuming endless free and paid articles, videos, books, podcasts, etc., I feel called to give. Specifically, I feel strongly about budget coaching because it's the foundational discipline and jump-off point for other money moves.
Imparting the knowledge I've gained, and sharing it in a way that is non-threatening, friendly and understandable is important to me—that's why I coach!
