Matthew Amster-Burton is a podcaster, musician, and writer living in Seattle.

A former personal finance columnist, he is now a Support Specialist and credit card expert at YNAB. He's the lead singer of Early to the Airport, a punk-rock duo whose other member is also a YNAB employee. Matthew is the author or coauthor of five books, including Pretty Good Number One: An American Family Eats Tokyo, which was a bestseller in Japan. He makes pretty good homemade pad Thai.
