Jen Fuhler
Money is all about storytelling. I am a college English and literature professor who works with individuals and families to better understand the stories impacting their finances, decisions, and goals. My coaching focuses on active listening and offering perspective to help clients meet goals.
My Background
I work in higher education as an English professor, but also have a master's degree in personal financial planning. I love exploring the intersection of stories and money. I used YNAB as I transitioned to becoming a single parent during the pandemic. Today, my life centers on my kids, travel, and education. I am currently working on developing a new pathway at my college and earning my doctorate in higher education, so I am not actively expanding my coaching at this time.

Why I Coach
My passion in all areas of my life is to connect with people to help them find meaning in the stories they have created about their lives. YNAB helped me view my money from a different perspective at a critical time of my life. Helping others understand their money stories and create a new relationship with their finances is something I hope to always pursue.
