Southern California has been "home" all my life. I am married and have two "kids" in their 20s. I am also a dog mom to two Mini Schnauzers. I enjoy embroidery, hand lettering, and puzzles in my spare time.

I have always loved Math and numbers. I majored in Accounting but found that personal finance was much more enjoyable. I am a self-proclaimed nerd who loves balancing a checkbook and will find that last penny!

I have been using YNAB since 2010! Since 2018, I have worked with clients using YNAB to help them with their finances. I never judge clients on their spending. My role is to provide clarity and help people learn to align their spending with their priorities.

I have worked all sorts of freelance and gig-work jobs in the past, so I understand variable income. As a person married for over 25 years and the mom to two 20-somethings, I know that budgeting for a family is not static.

I have vivid memories of my parents struggling with money when I was a kid. I knew I wanted to do better with money when I grew up. After finally finding a system that worked for our family with YNAB, I knew it could help others.

I coach because I want people to know they are NOT bad at money. I coach because I want people to create better money memories for their kids.
