Web Release Notes: April 30, 2020

Release Notes

Update: We pushed out a second release today to fix an issue with our backend analytics tools. This is a behind the scenes change so nothing visible should have changed.

A long, long time ago, Firefox needed us to add basically any data set, so that it would support dragging and dropping to re-organize categories and accounts in YNAB. So naturally, behind-the-scenes we set that data set to “firefox needs this.” Fast forward to today, and now Firefox no longer needs that data set, but if you try dragging a category to reorganize on an iPad, Safari will now hilariously open a web search with “firefox needs this.” These are the kinds of bugs that Kyle, one of our front-end developers, lives and breathes for.
